Sidewalk Repair In accordance with Section 13-2-205 of the Anne Arundel County Code, routine maintenance and repair of sidewalks is the responsibility of the abutting property owner unless the County has damaged the sidewalk in some manner. If the sidewalk was damaged by the County and a tripping hazard exists, the sidewalk will be wedged. Total replacement of the sidewalk is dependent upon the severity of the problem and available funding.
